Sea : Dive into the depths

"One touch of nature makes the whole world kin" - William Shakespeare-

Natural light, equivalent to “lumen naturalis” rationis, in medieval philosophy and theology, denoted the ordinary cognitive powers of human reason by the supernatural light of grace, lumen gratiae, or divine revelation.

Since ancient times, people have been fascinated by the sea, observing the waves and dreaming of what exists beyond the abyss and the horizon. Underwater, the body and spirit change as the boundaries of gravity and direction, colour and light, silence and movement, time and space, melt together.

In my paintings, I represented the light that illuminates an ecosystem full of life and the energy of the rhythmically swaying ripples and currents.

I explore the unconscious connection between ourselves and the life of the sea and its primitive fascination.

lumen naturaleとは、知識が自然の光から生まれるという中世の考え（Paracelsusc.1493–1541）を指す。自然の中の光は意識を照らし、人間の潜在意識からインスピレーションと直感を高めることを可能にする。

人は古代から海に引き寄せられ、波を観察し、深淵や地平線の向こうには何が存在するかを夢見ていた。水中では重力と方向、色と光、沈黙と動き、時間と空間の境界が溶けあうにつれて、体と心が変化する。私は絵の中で、生命に満ちた生態系を照らす光、リズミカルに揺れる波紋と海流のエネルギーを表した。

無意識のうちの私たちと海の生命、原始の魅力とのつながりを探求する。
